2010 Strong Kids Campaign February 15 to March 15
About the Campaign:
The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign encourages people across the country to invest in YMCA programs that
help provide more opportunities for children. It is aimed at raising public awareness and much needed
financial support for the work that the YMCA does to provide children, teens, and families with the values
and life skills they need to succeed. The Cumberland YMCA encourages the development and maintenance
of a healthy mind, body and spirit through health, fitness and social programs. The campaign is focused from
February 15th to March 15th 2010, but you can make a donation all year round. Please help spread the
word about this annual campaign by telling your Y story to a friend or posting it online so others can see at
www.strongkids.ca

Our Goal:
Our goal for the 2010 Campaign is:
$50,000

By giving annually to the Strong Kids Campaign, you not only show your support but you also send a clear
message to those around you - "I care about my community, and I believe that the YMCA makes us better."
it is only with the continuous support of community minded individuals that we are able to maintain our qualiy
programs and services. Together we build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. Donations can
be made in person at the YMCA, online at www.strongkids.ca over the telephone (credit card only) or by mail.

Here is what your donation could go towards:

  • $25 enables a youth to attend overnight Survivor Camp.
