YMCA Teen Fitness Programs

Teen Weight Training
An Introductory course to the weight room. This course teaches the proper technique, ettiquette and use of various machines and weights. This course is mandatory for teens 14-16 who wish to use the weight room without adult supervision.

Teen Esteem
Teen Esteem is an esteem building program for young women ages 12 to 15 who may benefit from non-competitive physical fitness activities. The goal of this program is to build interest, motivatyion and confidence through positive reinforcement in areas such as life skills, nutrition, and physical activity.
