TEEN LEGACY CLUB
Members of Teen Legacy Club are taught the power of philanthropy, while learning the basic principles of service.  TLC Members will interview grant recipients, plan a fund raiser, recruit new members, and much more.  The most important thing about Teen Legacy Club has little to do with what we train our teen members though.  The true importance lies in what they actually do.  Members of TLC are creating a culture of philanthropy.   All of this makes Teen Legacy Club a program that not only benefits the teens involved directly but our entire community.

Family Night
The Family Night program is a chance for families
to enjoy a fun evening at the YMCA together and
interact with other families. Activities include:
Gym time (with equipment), swimming and a
social time with snacks.

Family Night runs the first Saturday of every
month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Camps & Special Events
Different camps are run year round after school
and during the evenings. Camps include:
Basketball, Racquetball, Badminton, Hockey
and Survivor Camps. The YMCA also holds Y-Dances for those ages 9 - 13 throughout the year.

Friday Night Program
A fun night of activities including crafts, movies,
games, canteen, and swimming. Sponsored by
the Town of Amherst. The Friday Night Program
runs every Friday night October to April. We now
offer two age groups at different times.
Ages 5 - 8 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Ages 9 - 14 - 8:00 - 10:00pm
Cost is $2.00 admission.

Registration space is limited, if you would like to
register your child registration starts every
Wednesday for the coming Friday.

All Night Dance - A - Thon
Participants go door to door to raise money to
dance the while night long. Prizes are given out
throughout the evening and the participants also
go swimming, dance, have snacks,
more dancing and even more more dancing!

Home Alone
Learn the skills to feel comfortable being home
alone at this special daycamp. Cooking, stranger
danger, fire safety, basic first aid and new
responsibilities.

Home Alone is offered 2-3 times per year.
