​What is Anchor Youth Space Cumberland?

A free welcoming hub for young people ages 12-25 and their caregivers, offering access to a wide range of health and wellness resources. ​

​

 

Services include:

  • Walk-in support — no referral needed 

  • Counselling, peer support, outreach, and programs for both youth and caregivers

  •  Help with housing, life skills, addictions, mental health, and much more

Land Acknowledgement
The YMCA of Cumberland would like to acknowledge that we are located on the ancestral, unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people in what’s currently called Canada. The Peace and Friendship Treaties of 1752 guarantee hunting, fishing, and land use rights for all descendants of the Indigenous signatories. We will continue to honour these terms on our journey towards reconciliation. We acknowledge that we are all Treaty people, and have a shared responsibility to respect and protect the territory of Turtle Island.
