The YMCA of Cumberland offers a variety of Health & Fitness programs for people of all abilities.

An intense 45-minute ab routine designed to challenge you while working on your core strength goals.

An upbeat group fitness class that promotes balance, mobility and strength. Combining low-impact movements and resistance training, this class is designed to increase strength and energy, with a focus on fall prevention.

Bootcamp is a type of group physical training program. This class is designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of types of exercise and will push you to your limit.

BOSU Blast

BOSU is a balance trainer that fires up your core and stabilizing muscles by creating an unstable surface to perform body weight exercises on. Using the BOSU, this class will be a mix of cardio and strength training exercises to timed intervals, with a focus on core, legs and glutes, so you are able to perform at your own fitness level. Beginner to advanced fitness levels appropriate.

Cardio Challenge

A medium intensity, low impact class designed to combine cardio, weights, and core work for all age groups. Modifications provided for a lower intensity workout as well as extensions for a more challenging class.

Cardio kickboxing is a group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Chair fitness is a class primarily in a chair to promote flexibility, stretching, core movement and strength. We use equipment for resistance as well as the chair to incorporate balance. A class for all levels of fitness and mobility
