Fall Group Swim Lessons
**Public Registration Dates: Opens September 11th closes on September 22nd
10 Week Session: beginning the week of September 24th
Lessons Offered: Sunday Mornings or Thursday Evenings
Cost: $100 for Members $210 Non-Members
Registration will be available online starting : September 11th

Private swim lessons are offered over a eight-week session. The next session will be offered the following day's

Courses
Bronze Star: The first of the bronze program. Only required for candidates 12 years or younger who wish to take their Bronze Medallion, however anyone is welcome to take their Bronze Star, as it can be good practice for more advanced courses. It is recommended that most swim lessons levels have been completed, as a prerequisite.
Bronze Medallion: Bronze Medallion challenges the candidate both mentally and physically. Judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness - the four components of water rescue - form the basis of Bronze Medallion training. Candidates acquire the assessment and problem-solving skills needed to make good decisions in, on and around water. Bronze Medallion is a prerequisite for assistant lifeguard training in Bronze Cross. If under the age of 13 the prerequisite is Bronze Star. Next course dates: April 15, 22 and 23 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Bronze Cross: Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatics emergencies. Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for advanced training in the Society's National Lifeguard and leadership certification programs. The prerequisite for bronze cross is bronze medallion. Next course dates: May 6, 7, 13 and 14 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day.
Intro to Comp: An introductory program to competitive swimming, for those enrolled in have completed the star level swimming lessons.
